Health Care
Early detection of medical problems is very important, just as periodic
checkups are wonderfully reassuring if no problem exists. The care
that starts with a puppy or kitten can pay extra dividends when
your companion becomes geriatric. Physical wellness examinations
are recommended annually for healthy dogs, and at least every six
months for dogs over seven years of age, or with outstanding medical
concerns. These examinations help us spot the signs of illness and
disease in their earliest and most treatable stages.
Diagnostics
Our non-invasive diagnostic imaging techniques, such as x-ray and
in house lab to run bloodwork which provide our staff with tools
for looking inside your pet without the need for surgery. They also
eliminate critical time between diagnosis and the beginning of your
pet's treatment. When necessary, we also send images and lab work
to specialized institutions in order to help us determine the cause
of your pet's illness.
Surgery
Surgery may offer the opportunity to improve or save the life of
your pet. We use the most modern equipment and monitoring devices,
and employ the latest surgical and anesthesia techniques to maximize
safety and efficiency. Our surgical procedures are always performed
with sterilized equipment and cardio-pulmonary monitoring to ensure
the safest conditions for your pet's procedure. Also, we offer pre-anesthetic
blood work and post-operative pain medication.
Vaccinations
One of the most effective ways of protecting your pet's health is
to provide immunization against various common and sometimes deadly
diseases. Our policy is to provide the best, well-tested combinations
of protection for your pet.
