I’ve been working with animals my whole life. I grew up on my parent’s farm where we ran a successful breeding and sales program for event horses and I helped with all aspects of it. Raising and training young horses and seeing them go off to their loving forever homes is something that I really enjoyed.

I’ve worked for, and ran, a number of different equestrian facilities in Canada and the US.

The last 5 years I worked at a large and small animal vet clinic. I loved getting to learn something new every day. Working with horses will always be a big part of my life but I’m happy to now be able to focus more on smaller furry friends at Barriefield.

When I’m not at work you’ll find me with Cooper, my Irish Jack Russel, we’re either out at the barn riding my horse Abby, an Irish Sport Horse or out doing something with our cat Meeko.
