Dog Euthanasia

How do I know it’s time?

Deciding to euthanize a beloved pet is one of the most difficult decisions pet owners will have to make. Many people struggle with determining the right time to say goodbye. If your pet can no longer enjoy the things they once loved to do, or appears to be experiencing more pain than enjoyment, then it is an appropriate time to schedule an appointment with one of our veterinarians.

Can I say goodbye to my pet in the comfort of our home?

Home euthanasia is a service that is offered to our established clients, subject to availability.

How is the euthanasia drug administered?

Administration of this drug is through an intravenous catheter placed in your pet’s front or hind leg. We often give a sedative, so your pet can have the least stressful experience possible.

What is the cost of pet euthanasia?

There are many factors that are considered in the cost of euthanasia. Please contact us and one of our team members will assist you with more information.

Does your clinic provide bereavement counselling?

The bond we share with our pets is special, and the loss we experience after a death can be significant. There are a number of pet bereavement associations and resources. Please contact us for more information.
